My background in Musical Theatre

The first glimmer of life on stage I experienced was at the age of 8, when I was approached with the opportunity to be in a Christmas showcase for an amateur dramatics company in my home town. Since this joyful experience, I couldn't get enough. I stayed with this company performing various shows; 'Robin Hood', 'Bugs Malone', 'Betty Blue Eyes', 'The Wizard of Oz'. I decided at the age of 15 this is my life, my ambition is to perform. I took dance as a GCSE then went on to do Musical Theatre at college. Whist in college I joined a Saturday theatre school where we would practice singing, dancing and acting and I went on to perform in a showcase with them, having a lead solo dance where I performed contortion skill I had learned from my gymnastics experience. All of this lead me to take a BA Hons in Musical Theatre at University, which brings us to now.

I am always looking for opportunities to be on stage, my happy place.
